Overview

Scusa Mi! Italiano at Corner Snedden Drive & O'Sullivan Road, Glen Waverley VIC 3150, Australia feels like the kind of place built for a relaxed Italian meal with a little extra polish. The setting has a trendy feel, yet it still keeps the mood warm and easygoing, which makes it suitable for a casual lunch, a catch-up with friends, or a slower meal where the menu deserves attention.

The food highlights lean into classic Italian comfort with enough variety to keep the table interesting. Arancini makes a strong start, bringing that familiar crispy outside and soft, savoury centre that works well as a shared bite. Eggplant Chips add another snackable option, especially for anyone who enjoys a lighter starter with a crisp texture. Together, these dishes help set the tone before moving into the richer mains.

For pasta lovers, Spaghetti Pescatore is one of the key dishes to notice on the menu. It brings a seafood-focused style that fits naturally with Italian dining, especially for guests who prefer something hearty but not overly heavy. Lasagne is another standout, offering that layered, comforting feel people often look for in an Italian restaurant. It is the kind of dish that gives the menu a familiar and satisfying anchor.

Scusa Mi! Italiano also puts attention on the full dining experience, not just the plates. Table service adds a more comfortable rhythm to the meal, while lunch reservations are recommended, which suggests planning ahead is a smart move for a smoother visit. The great wine list is another strong point, giving diners a reason to pair their meal with something that suits the mood, whether they are ordering pasta, starters, or dessert.

Speaking of dessert, Tiramisu is a signature highlight and a natural way to finish the meal. It fits the restaurant’s Italian theme beautifully, bringing a soft, sweet, coffee-style ending after savoury dishes like Lasagne or Spaghetti Pescatore. For guests browsing Glen Waverley restaurant locations and reviews, Scusa Mi! Italiano stands out as a stylish Italian dining option with comforting dishes, dessert appeal, attentive service, and a menu that feels easy to enjoy from start to finish.

Went there on a busy Friday evening where the restaurant was absolutely packed. I was not keeping my expectations high, because I had not been there before and did not want to disappoint myself if the food and service weren't that great. But might I tell you, It was the exact opposite. The service was quick, fast and efficient. All the food we ordered was great. We ordered for 1. Mediterranean Olives 2.Eggplant Chips 3. Pizza Margherita 4. Pizza Parmigiana 5. Pachcheri A la Norma 6. Gnocchi Fromaggio 7. Burrata Caprese 8. Spaghetti Carbonarra & 9. Zeppoli Each dish had its own great flavour and I did take a second helping of each dish and my sincere compliments to all the Chefs who dished out the dishes even before I could blink my eye (one of the chefs was really cute ). We also had mocktails 1. Apple Sour 2. Tropics of Capri Both were great too, I think I preferred the Tropics of Capri more though, cause it was slightly more sweeter. Also all the male servers were pretty hot too. Definitely coming back for the food and to ogle. Thank you Scusa Mi!

My favourite place for Italian food. From entrees to mains to desserts, everything is high quality. The ambience is lively, music playlist is great. I do recommend booking a table as this place gets busy around dinner times especially between Friday and Sunday nights. We'll be back soon

Dined at Scusa Mi early on a Saturday evening. Definitely worth going once to try it out and good for large parties of diners but maybe a bit on the noisy side. Food was tasty and served promptly. We had the casarecchi with chicken pasta dish and the chicken parmigiana. The fries with the parmigiana were a bit too salty otherwise it was a large portioned, tasty serving. The pasta dish was also well portioned and very tasty. Our waitress was fantastic. Provided really good service. The restaurant reminded me a little of a fast food chain. They were very busy and noisy, but to be fair, the restaurant felt like a well oiled machine with staff on top of the madness that is a Saturday night. The only downside was the price. The meals were priced in the early $30s (quite common nowadays) but to hit me with a 1.75% visa debit card surcharge when I go to pay the bill..... come on! Just hide it in the meal price or don't charge me at all considering I paid you close to $80 in total.

Really enjoyed our family meal. Waitstaff were very friendly and portion sizes were big. Pasta was al dente, pizza dough was a good texture, eggplant chips were my favourite. Only critique is the octopus was tough, wouldn’t order it again. Otherwise, would come back to try other dishes.

Extremely worth the hype and price. I was pretty shocked at how full the tables were, and just assumed it was another overrated Italian restaurant, but no, this is one of the best Italian restaurants I have tried in the Southern Hemisphere. The flavour was really special and amazing, and the perfect texture really brought everything together. Their pizza is great, and the pasta too. Would definitely recommend getting the gnocchi. The service is great also.

Nice atmosphere. Pretty busy. Very good service. Delicious food. Just beside The Glen. It has both outdoor and indoor tables. I enjoyed the food and had a quiet quality time.

An outstanding Italian dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente, the sauces rich and authentic, and the ingredients clearly fresh and high quality. The pizza had a beautifully crisp crust with balanced toppings. Excellent wine selection and attentive service made the evening even better. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates true Italian cuisine.
